What we collect and why

When you apply for a trade account we collect the details you give us — your name, company, work contact details, company number and VAT number — to verify your company against the Companies House public register, assess your application (including our internal credit checks), and open and operate your trade account.

Who we share it with

Your details are used within WBYS Limited and our service providers who help us run the portal (hosting, email delivery, and our order-management system). We look your company number up against the Companies House public register. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

If your application does not proceed, we delete application records within 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep account and transaction records for as long as we trade together and as required by law (e.g. HMRC record-keeping).

Your rights
